There won’t be a GA meeting on Saturday in Sag Harbor, just a presence with signs, posters and hand-outs from 3 pm till you get cold and want to go home. Regular meeting and facilitation on Sunday at the Incarnation Lutheran Church in Watermill.

HARBOR FROST Saturday, Feb 11, 2012 – There will be a facilitation meeting at 2 pm followed by a GA meeting on Long Wharf in Sag Harbor as part of the Harbor Frost celebration which begins at 3 pm. Bring signs and posters to the windmill. Grucci fireworks at 6:15 pm!

At the GA Meeting on Sunday there will be copies of the new Declaration of the Occupation of the Hamptons which was adopted by consensus at the 1/8 GA Meeting. And for our evaluation there will be copies of the Principles of Solidarity, a document now being developed by the OWS.

I have new posters for the Springs area but I’d be happy to print up more for the GA. Our foreclosure actions can get us some publicity so people will be interested in who we are and what we’re doing.

The Golden Eagle is no longer available for GA meetings. Instead we’ll meet outside in the bank parking lot next door.

I am not sure how to post here. While I am not a fan of electoral politics, i have scheduled a meeting with Rep. Bishop that Occupy folks are attending on Jan. 26 concerning the National Defense Authorization Act and bank regulation. Are OccupyHamptons fools interested in a similar meeting at Bishop’s Southampton office? Or, any of you can join…[Read more]
