I have installed a website that is a link directory at http://www.GoHamptons.com where small businesses can add their shops themselves. 1. Make little cards with the URL to the online catalog (I bought http://www.GoHamptons.com ages ago)
2. Give the cards out at Bridgehampton Commons in front of: The Gap, Victoria’s Secret, Banana Republic, KMart, Verizon, Staples, etc.)
3. Start press for the catalog and offer free links, coupon codes and links to local…[Read more] -

If it works, is stable and safe from cretins… Whats the diff?
I think it would be good to identify the site with Black Friday.
”Support our community – shop local business, boycott corporations.” or something like that. Later it could be revised to reflect XMAS, etc.
How do you see this being linked?
I guess I see us, or just me, or whoever would like to join me in an action, to spend time at the Bridgehampton Commons making shoppers aware of the website with cards I ordered yesterday. I will also get ad space donated (I hope) at East Hampton Patch and Southampton Patch.
